52 Percent Disapprove of Obama Immigration Policy

In a new ABC/Washington Post poll conducted by Langer Research, Obama earns highly negative marks in three crucial areas -- the economy, health care and immigration," Business Insider says.

District Judge Punts on Upholding South Carolina Law

"A federal judge who in December blocked parts of a South Carolina law cracking down on illegal immigrants said on Monday the law would remain on hold until an appeals court ruled on the case. That means South Carolina still cannot enforce a provision requiring police to check the immigration status of people they stop. The U.S. Supreme Court last month upheld that controversial aspect of a similar law in Arizona," Reuters reports. "He said that because the state had appealed his injunction, it would remain in place until the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals either lifted it or sent the case back to him for reconsideration."

Condoleezza Rice Potential VP Pick, Mentions Immigration in Speech

"As presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney continues to mull over whom to choose as his running mate, one name has started to be brought up more often -- former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Fueled by comments from Ann Romney last week that her husband is considering choosing a woman as his VP nominee, many have speculated that the Stanford University professor may make her way back onto the political stage," the Huffington Post writes.
