Obama Says Health Legislation Should Not Cover Illegal Immigrants, Promises Amnesty

President Obama reiterated his earlier statements about health care coverage for illegal immigrants while appearing on Univision's "Al Punto" show. He said he remained committed to getting amnesty for all illegal aliens in the U.S., however.

Economy Encouraging Immigrants to Depart

USA Today reports on what some immigration boosters believe is a reverse brain drain. Duke University's Vivek Wadhwa, an apologist for displacing American workers, is quoted as saying the departure of these (legal) immigrants would harm the economy more.

Chicago Attorney Guilty in Immigration Fraud

Beth Ann Broyles pleaded guilty to charges she participated in a conspiracy to bring illegal aliens to the U.S. in a multi-million dollar scheme. Broyles acted to facilitate about 1,000 fraudulent worker petitions, that netted the main conspirator roughly $35 million in fees.
