Obama Says Health Plan Won't Cover Illegal Aliens

Rep. Joe Wilson made news and sparked a fight on Wikipedia when he shouted "You lie!" during President Obama's remarks to Congress yesterday where he claimed illegal immigrants would not get health coverage. The New York Times blog has more coverage.

Terrence Jeffery with CNS says that Obama's amnesty plan would render arguments about coverage moot. "Illegal immigrants won't get federal health insurance benefits under Obama's plan because they won't be illegal immigrants anymore, they will be legal immigrants."
