FAIR Action Alert - California Ready to Enact Illegal Alien Friendly Bill
With a $26 billion budget deficit and an unemployment rate closing in on 12%, California state legislators and Governor Schwarzenegger were forced earlier this summer to cut $15 billion in spending and services in order to enact the state's budget. However, this hasn't stopped the State Senate from passing a bill that will allow illegal aliens to remain employed in California and will do nothing to stem the tide of illegal immigration into the state. Ed Koch: It's Time to Deport All Imprisoned Illegal Immigrants
"I have a proposal which I hope the Obama administration will consider and implement. Immediately, or as soon as possible, the United States should deport all illegal aliens who are in federal and state prisons, and in our municipal jails, to their countries of origin," says former New York Mayor Ed Koch.

New Indictment in H-1B Fraud Case
Visions System Group Inc. faces new federal charges alleging the company abused the H-1B visa system. The indictment charges that the company filed for the workers in Iowa, which has a lower prevailing wage, but actually used them in New Jersey, which has a much higher wage.

Sham Marriage Leads to Murder in D.C.
Shahabuddin Rana, a pizzeria owner in Washington D.C. was killed after he refused to pay someone as promised for engaging in marriage fraud to get a green card. Rana allegedly paid a woman to marry his brother in order to get him a green card.
