The Spin Continues on Health Care, Obama Denies Health Insurance for Illegal Aliens
President Obama appeared yesterday on the Michael Smerconish radio show to discuss issues such as the auto and financial bailouts and illegal immigration. Obama point-blank denied that health care proposals in Congress were designed to give care to illegal immigrants, saying it was "simply not true." Obama's remarks are both true and misleading, because they are based upon a provision in the House legislation that has no enforcement mechanism - no way to check if the people who are signed up are actually here legally.

At Secret White House Meeting, Obama Pledges Amnesty Support
President Obama pledged support for an amnesty program at a secretive White House meeting with big business and amnesty lobbyists. The meeting excluded representatives of the American public, who by large margins don't want a massive amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Cuomo Shuts Firms Over Immigration Fraud
New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo shut six firms providing immigration assistance, accusing them of defrauding clients. Clients complained they paid money for green card assistance but the firms did not provide any services.
