DHS Changing Enforcement

USA Today has a roundup on changes made by the Obama administration to immigration enforcement. They include gutting worksite enforcement raids, and focusing on auditing employers. The administration also stopped a Bush administration plan to require employers to take action when they receive a "no-match" letter from the Social Security Administration.

ObamaCare Expected to Cover Up To 12 Million Illegal Immigrants

Last week, the House defeated an amendment by Rep. Dean Heller (R-NV) that would have prevented illegal aliens from getting benefits under the new national health care plan. The measure then passed the House Ways and Means committee.

Retreating from REAL ID

Rep. James Sensenbrenner along with other members of Congress responsible for passing the REAL ID act have an op-ed in today's Washington Post defending the legislation. They explain that the PASS ID bill being debated now would gut REAL ID and return us to a 9/10 level of security.
