More Smugglers Take Sea Route As Border Tightens
New border fencing along the California-Mexico border means that more illegal immigrants are trying to cross by sea. The New York Times covers increased enforcement by the Coast Guard and DHS to stop both the increase in drug and human smuggling along the California coast.
