Mass Amnesty Stalls as Recession Persists
"We won't be touching immigration reform during a recession. So the possibility of getting any comprehensive reform in the next two years is about zero." So said University of Arizona Professor Emeritus Ed Williams during an interview with the Dubuque, IA, Telegraph Herald Thursday. Prof. Williams also mentioned that President Obama now agrees with his former presidential campaign rival, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., that border security has to come before any reform.
