"Piecemeal" Amnesty
The DREAM Act, which would provide undocumented children and young adults a pathway to citizenship, is nothing short of giving amnesty one piece at a time. Overwhelming Numbers Back English as America's Official Language
A report released by Rasmussen yesterday says that Eighty-four percent (84%) of Americans say English should be the official language of the United States. Additionally, the report states that Eighty-two percent (82%) reject the idea that requiring people to speak English is a form of racism or bigotry, up three points from 2007. California Senator Introduces Guest-Worker Bill
California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Thursday introduced an ambitious agricultural guest-worker bill that faces a harder road than ever before. The bill, which would legalize upward of 2 million illegal immigrant farmworkers and their family members, resembles similar bills regularly but unsuccessfully introduced since September 2003.
