Dallas School District Gave Illegal Aliens SSNs, Despite Years of Warnings "Years after being advised by a ICE should do a raid on the school district and inspect all the I-9's for validity. They should also fingerprint all the employees and run them through the databank and see how many are illegals. Yet the folks who spend all day with the children can skip these basics with the tacit approval of the school system? President Bush needs to write an executive order that has EVERY school district employee re e-verified. While he's at it, lets have the IRS hold on to tax returns until those SS#s have been verified, and let's require that every government agency which provides money or similar benefits e-verify all recipients. No big deal for citizens. Bleeding heart groups could help citizens whose names don't match their SS#s get the paperwork fixed. And anyone who can't (or won't) follow the rules can be automatically cut off from benefits. I had to go to the Sheriff's Office and get fingerprinted to make sure I was able to be around young people on an extended basis. What happened? They cannot legally work in this country and they are taking jobs away from Americans. I believe incarceration means just that whether in their houses or behind bars! MY COMMENT: If they watched "COPS" they would find that they were not treated any differently than any other criminal. MY COMMENT: I like the way Sheriff Joe Arpaio puts it when he relates his inmates to our soldiers in Iraq. When I was in the military I sometimes wore the same clothes for days, slept where and when I could and ate where and when I could and got paid a whole hell of a lot less that these criminals were being paid illegally so don't give me the big sob story because it doesn't fly with me! Those who have not followed the procedures are not good people, will never be good people--laws are there to help structure a society not to thwart just because one can. It is amazing to me how these people have no shame and no concern about what they are teaching the children they are around about what it means to be an adult and make adult decisions. One doesn't always get instant gratification in one's desires and to teach children they can break the law to get what they want is one reason such entities as gangs exist. The purpose of life is to learn how to work for what one wants and desires--not steal from the very people you would like to emulate by breaking into their homes--our beautiful states that comprise the best nation in the world. I wonder just how many sanctuary cities are actually doing this and not just in Texas. I have encountered foreign teachers in the one that I am residing in, and they can barely speak English. It isn't Spanish they are teaching either. I find it interesting how many US citizens have been lured to this city I am living in, promised teaching jobs that didn't happen and yet the school district continued to hire people, who didn't even have a degree let alone were US citizens. Spending in education has more than doubled in the past 15 years from $188 billion in 1995 to $418 billion in 2005. Adjusted for inflation, per pupil spending on schools has risen 27% since 1990, yet teacher salaries have remained essentially the same. I also wonder if the two education unions, the National Education Associate, which has 2.7 members with its billion dollar annual dues income, and its rule in more school districts with a power base in mostly rural areas and small to midsized towns, is part of the problem. Of course, then there is the American Federation of Teachers with one million members and a base mainly in the big cities, where it seems most of the sanctuary cities, like Dallas, are. They haven't done much to ensure teachers get paid more, so why are school districts scraping the bottom of the barrel for criminal alien teachers and committing even more crimes to do so. It seems to be all about the money. I would hope that every taxpayer in Dallas would sue for the fraud that has occurred. We all pay for schools and should show immense outrage when they employ criminal activities like this. Shame on anyone who accepted these social security numbers.
