New Movie About Illegal Immigration Funded in Part By Mexico

"Mexican film director Patricia Riggen faced so many challenges making her new film, 'Under The Same Moon,' that she almost gave up, but it is good for audiences and for Riggen that she persevered. The Spanish-language film, which debuted in major U.S. cities this week and will play around the country in days ahead, puts a human face on illegal immigration. Yet, Riggen hopes audiences will see beyond political issues and be touched by the tale of a mother and son who long to reunite," Reuters reports.

"In other words, it's just pro-illegal immigration propaganda. The article also confirms that 'she won the trust of private investors and gained funding from the Mexican government'. So, not only is it propaganda designed to support illegal immigration, it's funded by the government that profits from that illegal activity," notes the Lonewacko blog.

Dear Former US Citizens:

Once again, thank you for spending the last five years watching American Idol as we took over your country.

Thank you for electing officials that were corrupt and freely opened the borders as you, the taxpayers, opened your wallet.

Thank you for not calling your elected officials and hold them accountable on how they vote. You elected irresponsible Representatives and allowed your government to go on AUTO pilot.

Thank you for not taken part in your local government. You allowed my close friends run for State Legislation and allowed them to shut any anti-illegal Bills and Provisions.

Thank you. You can leave. Enjoy the movie. Perhaps I will sponsor a TV show called "The Biggest Losers." It will show millions of Former US Citizens being deported out of the United States of Mexico.

Vicente Fox
President of the United States of Mexico

This film like so many others should be rated PCG- Politically Correct Garbage. I was just wondering if others who comment on this site have an uncomfortable feeling about the upcoming presidential election- like maybe it won't take place. I despise both parties but, I have an uneasy feeling that this president and his administration and it is not about to relinguish power- they have an agenda to fulfill. Bush propagandist, Karl Rove has been hired on by Fox News and he seems to be overtly hinting that America will soon be involved in a wider war (maybe Iran ). Based on old Jorge's past track record and seeing they may get booted out in the next election- they can't take that chance and a little document (the Constitution) won't stand in their way of keeping power. I don't think we will even see voting for the lesser of two evils take place as we may have the big evil in office now- Maybe I read too much in between the lines but I think we are living in a time in America when "we haven't seen everything yet" This is not our parent's or grandparent's America now-

EXACTLY!

PRO-ILLEGAL ALIEN PROPAGANDA!

Posted by: American Me on March 21, 2008 03:26 PM

Naturally the Mexican government will support anything that puts the burden of free educations, free health care, free food stamps, etc on the backs of American taxpayers. I bet Mexican politicans think we are the biggest suckers in the world! They may be right if the "open border" crazies get their way.

I want to see this mother be reunited with her son - south of the border and only there!

Posted by: Sick 'n Tired on March 21, 2008 05:06 PM

DON'T PAY TO WATCH IT

God forbid any of those open border organised crime agencies/organizations get any movie revenue from real legal Americans.

Posted by: Softwarengineer on March 22, 2008 01:24 PM

Here is a fact that no movie will tell you, neither will the "news", and certainly not LA RAZA or the ACLU, MOST MEXICANS ARE IN THE UNITED STATES ILLEGALLY. I say this without the slightest degree of animosity--it is the truth, which is why it is so bogus when we always here about Hispanic voting power. This is an outright lie because most hispanics are not eligible to vote. Many articles have been written about this, but as I said, it is not generally advertised and neither is the massive voting fraud that goes on.

I was listening to "This American Life" and they had on some illegal Mexican who said she couldn't get a GOOD job even though she was going college in CA. Unbelievable. The commentator was talking about how the so-called "DREAM Act" was her only chance at life. Excuse me, but she can go back to her country, MEXICO, and make her dreams there. We must be the biggest chumps in the world believing the corrupt politicians, reporters and businessmen like Bill Gates claiming we Americans are stupid, lazy and racist for not welcoming in more job thieves.

Mexico or the Hispanic congressional caucus?

Posted by: impeachbush on March 23, 2008 08:20 PM

NO AMNESTY TO ILLEGALS! DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY! LET ILLEGALS REUNITE WITH THEIR RELATIVES IN MEXICO, BUT NOT IN AMERICA!!

Posted by: jack on March 24, 2008 09:59 AM

I'm sorry, but I didn't see in the "article" where it said the Mexican govt. funded it...that came from the Lone Whacko website...

So please, clear that up for me...

I don't really care how much they "humanize" illegal immigration...violation of our sovereignty and laws cannot be tolerated any longer. If they are hoping for the bleeding heart liberals to jump on board, they needn't worry...

Indian Guest Workers Rally at Miss. Capital

"About 60 workers from India have called for a Pascagoula oil rig construction company to stop what they claim has been the exploitation of guest workers and to pay fair wages and benefits. The rally Thursday at the state Capitol in Jackson was to protest "slavery-like conditions" at Signal International, rally leaders said. The Mississippi Workers' Center for Human Rights joined with the New Orleans Workers' Center for Racial Justice at the rally," the AP reports. "The group left New Orleans Tuesday and plans to be in Montgomery, Ala. by Friday. Organizers say they plan to be in Washington D.C. by March 26th. Once there, they hope to meet with U.S. Rep. George Miller, D-Calif., chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee."

Good luck trying to get a fair wage. That's the whole reason these people were hired, so the oil company wouldn't have to pay a fair wage. I guess the joke is on the immigrants. They'll probably be replaced by new foreigners who make even less. Welcome to the USA.

I love it, Indian guest workers and illegal aliens protesting, while the majority of Americans whos jobs are affected sit on their a--es.

The scary part of this incident is the fact that is there isn't one American at that site protesting the loss of jobs to legal, and illegal aliens! It seems, the lack any collective effort is due to a disgustingly week political attitude toward protecting American citizens from powerful business's groups feeding off the cheap labor, and special interest groups who are feeding off their new found power afforded them by the ever increasing numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. If you figure in, ever increasing illegal, and legal aliens competing for dwindling jobs with Americans, a recession that is going to get far worse before it gets better, and a reluctance by politicians to rock the cheap labor boat that indirectly, and directly, is supporting their positions in government, you have a strong recipe for violence. Unless American citizens stand up in mass, and demand and end to this outrage the future of this county is in peril.

THE ORGANISED CRIME AMERICAN EMPLOYERS ARE IMMUNE FROM PROSECUTION ANYWAY

We should join the slaves from India protesting with our own signs, "Jail the Owners!!!"

Posted by: Softwarengineer on March 22, 2008 01:29 PM

The situation is this. These workers are being paid over $60K per year to work on a one year temporary visa in this shipyard. They do not want to return home to India (who can blame them), so they are stirring up trouble. NOBODY promised them a Green Card. Companies cannot promise those documents or influence the awarding of them. Another group of Indian workers pulled the same stunt last year.

Posted by: Macman on March 22, 2008 02:56 PM

These might be some smart Indians.... The way I understand it is they can remain in the U.S. until their lawsuit is settled.

Nice way to get your foot in the door.

Posted by: Roger on March 23, 2008 10:07 AM

i bet the SPLC/CAIR/ LA RAZA and NAACP which is powerful in that state are working together to defeat any enofrcement bill and MCCAIN will be just be happy

Posted by: impeachbush on March 23, 2008 08:21 PM

I love-it so-much, that I will re-read-it all day.
"Jail the Owners" and don't vote for SO*S, they all live by exploitation.

Posted by: Some Mexican on March 24, 2008 09:59 AM

The fact remains that Mississippi, with a higher than normal unemployment rate, never should have needed to entice foreigners into these jobs...

The idea that Americans wouldn't take them is blown out of the water when, once again, we find out companies are paying sub-standard wages and therefore Americans shouldn't be obligated to take them.

Make employers accountable and stop blaming American workers for not taking crap wages!

Posted by: takn on March 24, 2008 11:23 AM

The article doesn't say what clause of their contract was breached. I really don't understand how a 'reporter' could write an article like this without even presenting a single point of fact, even if it is just hearsay. If they were forced to work long hours, then say so and cite the labor code in Mississippi that speaks to that issue. If they were shortchanged, then cite the pay stipulated in the contract and show paystubs to date. Isn't this stuff covered in the first week of Journalism 101?

Posted by: Bill Dexter on March 24, 2008 02:20 PM

impeach bush, all the groups you mentioned are traitors to the American citizenry and never, ever, have the citizenries best interests at heart. Toxic, in the extreme.

Second CT Driving School Raided

"On the same day that the owner of a Stratford driver training school was charged with forging documents to help illegal immigrants obtain driver's licenses, state police searched another driving school in Waterbury. Law enforcement sources said state police detectives executed a search warrant Thursday morning at Classic Driving School on Fairfield Avenue in Waterbury as part of what appears to be a burgeoning investigation into suspected license fraud involving undocumented immigrants," the Hartford Courant reports. "Henry Kruszewski, 57, of Milford turned himself in at state police Troop G in Bridgeport on charges of racketeering and forgery. He is charged with producing phony documents at his Express Driving School to help undocumented immigrants obtain Connecticut driver's licenses. Kruszewski was released after posting a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on April 3."

It isn't surprising that this is going on back East, East Coast liberals are so clueless.

First of all he should be hung by the gonads for doing such a traitorist thing.

Secondly, he should forefeit the $500 G's and toss his ass in jail!

Thirdly, they should pull his passport and send him out of this country!

And if he has a wife and kids - we would not want to separate them - so send them along with him!

THE OPEN BORDER NUTS THINK THEY'RE ABOVE AMERICA'S LAWS; BUT THE LEGAL MIDDLE CLASS ISN'T

Throw the open border nuts out of America first, then build the fence.
