ABA Report: Stop Prosecuting People Who Will Get Amnesty Under Obama The American Bar Association has produced a report claiming that the DHS should stop trying to deport people who would be eligible for an amnesty, should one pass this year. "The report criticizes DHS for deporting legal permanent residents for minor or misdemeanor infractions, initiating deportation measures against immigrants eligible for permanent resident status, and detaining illegal immigrants far from their homes and, sometimes, their legal counsel," Fox News says. |
