Pew Research Center: Immigration is Not High Priority for Latinos Research conducted by the Pew Research Center concluded that among Latinos, the issue of immigration is rated as significantly less important than issues such as jobs and education. In December, 2008, just 31% said it was an "extremely important" issue for the new president to deal with - far behind issues such as the economy, education, health care, national security, and the environment. |
