Napolitano Does the Washington Two-Step Dance
How things change once a politician enters the Washington "Twilight Zone." As governor of Arizona in 2007, Dept. of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano signed one of the nation's toughest state immigration laws, the Legal Arizona Workers Act, which imposed harsh penalties on businesses that knowingly employed undocumented workers. However, now that she is the nation's top internal security cop, she is likely to reflect the position the President took as a candidate, supporting "comprehensive immigration reform so local communities do not continue to take matters into their own hands."
