Latest Worksite Enforcement Numbers Show Plummeting Arrest Figures The Washington Times has details on the latest enforcement statistics from ICE. "Criminal arrests, administrative arrests, indictments and convictions of illegal immigrants at work sites all fell by more than 50 percent from fiscal 2008 to fiscal 2009," the paper said. Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) told the paper that the numbers showed the Obama administration needed to do more to protect American jobs, especially given the state of the economy. |
