Amnesty Push a Test of Obama's Pull With Congress


Politics Daily says that despite the rhetoric coming from DHS Secretary Napolitano, the real test of the coming amnesty push will be how much pull Obama has after a year of bruising votes on health care and other issues. "Even after the administration has now upped the rhetorical ante, the political mystery is how much appetite Congress has for another high-decibel debate before the 2010 elections. By all accounts, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada, who is locked in a tough reelection fight in a state that is one quarter Hispanic, is determined to make the fight."
