Labor Report Ignores Impact on U.S. Workers


Organized labor groups that favor amnesty are using a new report, titled "ICED OUT: How Immigration Enforcement has Interfered with Workers' Rights," to make the same tired claims about how immigration enforcement harms worker's rights. What is left out of the AFL-CIO funded analysis is the relationship between the presence of an easily exploitable workforce in the U.S., the continued high unemployment of legal workers, and the fact that an amnesty is not going to change employers desire to get workers as cheaply as possible.
