Obama Administration Makes Bad Law in Asylum Case The Obama administration has decided to stop contesting the asylum claim of Rody Alvarado Pena, who has been appealing her asylum denial for 14(!) years in a case that spanned 3 Presidential terms. The DHS says it is writing new regulations on domestic violence asylum cases, which will now likely take into account the Obama administration's decision to recommend asylum for Pena. |
