Debra Saunders: SF Mayor Gives Illegal Drivers Another Legal Out Columnist Debra Saunders describes the latest policy shift by San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom. The police will be prevented from impounding cars driven by illegal aliens without a drivers' license if the illegal immigrant can find a licensed driver to drive their car away. "Talk to City Hall about how expensive it is to park, and city solons will tell you there is no right to drive. But if you break federal immigration law, they'll work on it." |
