SF Mayor Vows to Ignore New Sanctuary Policy San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom said he would ignore a new sanctuary resolution passed by the Board of Supervisors, because it conflicted with federal law. "The Campos bill isn't worth the paper it's written on - it's unenforceable and he knows that," a spokesman for Newsom said. The mayor intends to order police to continue to hand over illegal alien juveniles charged with crimes to ICE. |
