Obama Picks U.S. Attorney Who Worked for Sanctuary City DA President Obama has picked Stephanie Villafuerte as the next U.S. Attorney for Colorado. But as Michelle Malkin notes, Villafuerte worked for Bill Ritter, the district attorney for Denver who gave sweetheart plea agreements to illegal aliens so they could remain in the U.S. to commit more crimes. When Ritter's plea agreements were exposed by an ICE whistleblower, the government tried to prosecute him, and his supervisors lied at trial with no repercussion. |
