Obama's Holiday Inn Detention Plan Pleases No One


The DHS has announced that it will begin using converted hotels to house immigration detainees instead of local prisons. "They're converting the longstanding detention model into a hospitality model," FAIR spokesman Bob Dane said. AILA criticized the measure, saying the real problem was enforcing the law at all. "We detain far too many people at high costs to the American taxpayer, with no real benefit," said AILA president David Leopold.
