LA Times Editors Defend American Apparel for Hiring Illegal Workers "American Apparel is in the process of firing all of its undocumented workers, under pressure from the Department of Homeland Security -- a move that will cause as much real harm to Los Angeles as it will imaginary good," says the LA Times in an editorial. Despite 12% unemployment in California, the most the LA Times is willing to admit is that it is "possible" Americans will benefit from having those jobs open. |
