Border Fence Snags DHS Appropriations


Congress Daily reports that funding for a border fence is one issue preventing the House and Senate versions of the DHS appropriations bill from passing. "One outstanding difference concerns an amendment in the Senate bill that would require the department to build 700 miles of reinforced double-layered physical fencing along the Southwest border, [Rep.] Obey's office said [Monday]."
