New Pew Report Finds Enforcement, Economy Curbing Illegal Immigration A new survey by the Pew Center finds that a combination of no jobs and strong enforcement is turning back more illegal immigrants from the U.S. Forty percent of Mexicans surveyed knew someone who had returned from the U.S. because they couldn't find work. Almost half knew someone apprehended at the border. |
