Report: New Baucus Plan Would Bar Illegal Immigrants from Health Care Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) laid out his plan for health care reform legislation yesterday, including a provision that the New York Times reports would exclude illegal immigrants from participating in the health insurance exchanges set up by the bill. "Negotiators said that their bill would include an immigration status verification requirement." |
