Texas Rangers Deployed to Mexican Border Gov. Rick Perry is deploying Texas Rangers to the Mexican border due to increased drug violence there. "It is an expansive effort with the Rangers playing a more high-profile role than they've ever played before," Perry said. Perry blasted Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, who is running against him in the gubernatorial primary, for "hypocrisy" after she said the move was symbolic. |
