Carl Braun with the Examiner details some of the environmental problems caused by uncontrolled illegal immigration along the southern border. He notes that based upon Border Patrol apprehension numbers, the agency says there could be at least 1,200 tons of garbage left in environmentally sensitive areas along the Mexican border each year.
