American Apparel Loses Hundreds of Workers to Immigration Audit Peter Schey, attorney for American Apparel, said the company faced firing up to 1,500 workers this month because they had given incorrect employment information. The workers were found by an audit conducted by the DHS. The agency is not taking further enforcement action against the employees, most of whom are presumed to be illegal aliens using fake or stolen identities. |
