Texas Law Enforcement Willing to Accept 287(g) Texas law enforcement agencies in the Rio Grande Valley are enthusiastic about 287(g) programs for finding illegal aliens in jails, the McAllen Monitor reported. Some police chiefs there said they were less likely to actively seek out illegal immigrants for deportation. |
