Sen. Ted Kennedy: Architect of Modern America's Immigration Crisis RIP
There's been little mention in the media over the years of Senator Kennedy's role in promoting radical and extreme changes to America's immigration laws. Today's USA Today has an unbalanced account of his legacy. Among Sen. Ted Kennedy's accomplishments, the paper notes, was the passage of the 1965 immigration law that opened the floodgates to more immigration. Other legislation included the 1986 amnesty, and the failed amnesty effort in 2006 and 2007.
