LA Times Editors: Don't Worry About Illegal Aliens Getting Free Health Care The LA Times says in an editorial that concerns about illegal aliens getting taxpayer subsidized health insurance shouldn't stop Congress from passing a bill. While acknowledging that providing insurance for every illegal alien might have an impact on the number of people coming to the U.S. illegally, the editorial tries to downplay the cost impact of illegal immigration, ignoring the scores of hospitals closed along the U.S.-Mexico border because of the costs of uncompensated care for illegal immigrants. |
