U.S. Colleges Tout Benefits of Not Hiring Americans A post at the Slashdot tech news forum illustrates the problem facing American students - even their own universities are telling employers not to hire them. The University of Pittsburg, as well as USC and Iowa State University were among those cited for having brochures touting the benefits of hiring foreign students under the OPT (Optional Practical Training) loophole - benefits that include paying no FICA taxes. |
