Obama Administration Making Arpaio A Tough Offer to Refuse As part of the restructuring of the 287(g) program to gut interior enforcement, the DHS is now demanding Sheriff Joe Arpaio stop arresting illegal immigrants who have not committed other crimes. The DHS would also stop identifying illegal immigrants held in local jails if Arpaio doesn't agree to the new conditions. |
