New York Times Report Imagines "Aggressive" Obama Crackdown The New York Times' Julia Preston says that in spite of President Obama's promises of amnesty, he is actually cracking down more on illegal immigration than the Bush administration. The article suggests amnesty advocates are disappointed, and stunningly claims that DHS secretary Napolitano is expanding enforcement; Preston heavily on a series of misleading claims and statements from the administration. The article also claims Senator Schumer is pushing for a return to the term "illegal immigrants" rather than the current vogue of using misnomers like "undocumented." The entire spin is supposed to set up the push for big amnesty, apparently. |
