Obama Using Immigration Debate to "Change the Subject" According to Carl Bentham, writing on his blog, President's Obama sudden interest in starting a dialog about immigration reform (which includes mass amnesty for the more than 12 million illegal aliens in this country) is sheer political genius that will shift attention from the many "touchy" issues that are having a negative effect on his presidency. However, Carl Bentham ignores the fact that the majority of the people in this country (see RasmussenReport.com) want to improve enforcement of the borders and reduce illegal immigration. This move could very well end up being a land mine for the current administration. |
