Iowa Raid Draw's Complaints from Illegal Aliens "[Last]Monday's raid on the Agriprocessors plant, in which 389 immigrants Comments
I have seen very little in the press about the impact of illegal immigration on the legal residents of the town of Pottsville. I would like to hear from them. The press is reporting on the contributions the illegal immigrants have made/are making to the community. Do the legal residents agree? I would like to see the town from their eyes. Obviously, the federal government should be looking into how that many illegal aliens were allowed to go undetected for so long. This situation has all the indications of a criminal conspiracy. The good news is that the illegal aliens are self-deporting again. The bad news is they'll return later and/or will be replaced ten-fold especially if the local, state and federal governments are ignoring the slave operators.

Posted by: arthur on May 19, 2008 07:53 PM I think that the fines that the employer of this company should be calculated by the cost of the community who has to pay to educate the children of illegals, the courts who have to prosecute, prisons, translators, and hospitals who attend to them and don't get paid for it. This should be the fine. When the companies have to pay for the real costs for their cheap labor needs, then maybe they won't find it so affordable to hire these people. The employers who lure these people here and protect them need to be responsible for the actions of these people. The reality is that the counties pay for these people.
