McCain Gets Cheers, Jeers at Michigan Appearance
"Sen. John McCain of Arizona, winner of last Tuesday's New 
Hampshire primary, drew cheers and jeers from an audience of over 500 conservative activists in Michigan over the weekend . . . McCain was alternately cheered and jeered by the vocal, pro-growth, "limit-the-government" activist crowd. He was cheered for his military service and for his pledges to maintain a strong defense, to cut taxes and to veto earmarks, but he was booed for his stances on immigration and the environment," CNS News reports. "McCain, who engaged the audience in a lengthy Q&A period, drew howls of protest and boos when he expressed support for allowing most illegal aliens to stay in the United States and when he opposed against any form of protectionism."

Michigan is drowning in unemployment and they support "Amnesty" McCain and his millions of illegal Mexican welfare sponges. What a state.
By not supporting a person like Fred Thompson, or to a lesser extent , Mitt Romney, a month or so ago when Tancredo went down, we are now getting the two worst... McCain and Huckabee! There is still a chance Thompson can pull back up, and some chance he will find a suitable spot for Duncan Hunter as V.P. or director of homeland security! Focused issue people, like the crew here, need to try to influence the REAL WORD....I like Lou Dobbs immensely, but it is almost impossible to get him into the White House! The same applies to all other PURE candidates! Please consider Thompson before his time runs out!

The more people listen to McCain's Amnesty position the less support he will garner. Right now he's getting some play on his "close the border", theme but, as voters will soon discover he has not changed his stand on Amnesty. The only men worthy of any serious consideration for President is Fred Thomson, and Duncan Hunter.

Also please keep in mind that McCain is traveling around Michigan with Carly Fiorina, the former H-P CEO who was paid $20 million to leave. She's the one who said that US citizens need to get it through our heads that we no longer have a God-given right to jobs in the US. Is that McCain's view too? If so, that straight-talkin' man needs to say so!

Didn't the league of women voters put on the debate in the past?

Hillary just made a stopover here in San Diego, and when asked by someone in the crowd about illegals, she said, "No woman is illegal. And no man is either." The power of the people's popular vote will determine our next decade. Fred Thompson is a brilliant mind and is the only one with a definitive plan to stop the illegal cancer in our midst. Duncan Hunter could make the "two" of the one-two punch.

The folks in Michigan have not the slightest idea who McCain is. By voting for him they are 1)assuring the Presidency of open borders fanatic Hillary Clinton, 2) Open borders fanatic anti-american John McCain.
