Mexican Farmers Protest NAFTA, Say It Will Increase Illegal Immigration

"Farmers in [Mexico] organized scattered protests Tuesday and Wednesday as the final trade barriers on U.S. corn, beans, sugar and milk fell with the full implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement on New Year's Day. Corn and beans are staples of the Mexican diet and subsistence crops for millions of farmers. Don't worry about the corn, now that our brilliant politicians have us using corn for ethanol we are too busy burning it up in our cars to sell it to Mexico.
Why nopt start a campaign to trash NAFTA? The Mexicans are getting screwed by it and we lost three and a half million jobs because of it. The only ones that like it are the corporations and the bought and paid for politicians.

NAFTA is set up to make corporations rich and further the globalization and integration of North America. Ethanol is renewable but in effct it takes more fuel to produce than it actually provides. This will raise the price of corn in Mexico and put millions of poor in a bad situation raising their cost of living. Politicians know this but cannot get elected without corporate money that supports ethanol. Its sad to see peoples lives being ruined for the gain of the few. This has been happening since the beginning of time and is getting worse today. Remember one mans terrorist is anothers mans freedomfighter.
