Tancredo Announces Retirement After '08 "Rep. Tom Tancredo plans to leave the U.S. House of Representatives Comments
I saw this GREAT news this morning and it made my day! One less xenophobe in congress. The sad part is that he'll probably be replaced by another fear monger... but maybe not. Posted by: Human Being on October 29, 2007 05:18 PM Hey, he fought the good fight. What more can any real American do. If he didn't receive the support he was entitled to, tough nuts, it's going to cost Americans dearly for ignoring people, especially those in power, who try to help them. Lord only knows, Americans aren't going to get help from Hillary, Giuliani, or any other establishment whore, who works for big business rather than the American citizery. Posted by: Bobby on October 29, 2007 05:35 PM I do hope Congressman Tancredo runs for governor of his home state, Colorado. He is greatly needed to keep up the good fight he been fighting for a long time. He can be congratulated for putting the immigration issue on the front burner. I wish he could be elected, but sadly I don't think he can. We owe him a great debt of thanks for his untiring work on our behalf. No one in WAshington has fought as long and as hard as he has for this nation. Thank you, Congressman Tancredo. Posted by: June on October 29, 2007 05:58 PM Don't get too happy Human Bean, I believe he wants to run for Senate against a pro illegal racist hispanic senator. Posted by: D on October 29, 2007 07:08 PM I doubt this myopic crackpot can find a job similar to the one he did in Congress. Perhaps he can show the U.S. how to open a gardening business, or carpentry business, or restaurant staffing business, or agricultural worker contracting business, or a nursing home, or hospitality service business, or a meat packing plant, or any kind of factory, without using any unauthorized laborers. That would keep him busy. JMG Posted by: JMG on October 29, 2007 07:44 PM Tom Tancredo is a great American and I will continue to send him my support for this campaign and wish him well after the election season. It is sad that the debates do not include robust questioning about this countries biggest issue, illegal immigration, which will and has slowly torn the fabric of our nation. I agree with June, he should still run for office if his bid for president does not work... which, for now, appears to be stagnated due to the big RNC political money clan. Go Tom! Posted by: Greg on October 29, 2007 08:32 PM This will be a sad day in America. You're right, he did put illegal immigration on the table. Posted by: Stephanie on October 29, 2007 08:35 PM again the liberal media/academia establishment bring down a white man, they did it it IMUS, they're doing it to talk radio, they brought down Strom thurmond, and now they will do it ot toyu wwhite maeirca, now is the time to take down the american flag and put up the flag of the minutmen Posted by: impeachbush on October 29, 2007 11:11 PM Noble move, Tom. If you are going to run for President, don't pull a Lieberman, and hang on to your seat. Go whole hog! Posted by: kerthialfad on October 29, 2007 11:18 PM I started writing to my congressmen back in the early 80's and nobody would listen. I watched as our government executed its pollyanish attitude toward immigration, legal and illegal, for several decades. Tom is like a breath of fresh air....someone who stands up with common sense against political correctness and the name-callers. I know you won't be elected president, but it has been a great run. Best of luck. Posted by: James on October 30, 2007 05:42 AM Thank God the NUT is gone, Posted by: yoyoyo on October 30, 2007 09:52 AM Say it isn't so. I hope others on this board are correct in speculating that Mr. Tancredo will run for the Senate (or other office). We need all of the true patriots, such as Tom Tancredo, who care deeply about America and Americans in the forefront. I am very appreciative of his firm stand against the illegal invaders of this country who steal our benefits, bring criminal elements into our neighborhoods, dumb-down our schools, and severely diminish our quality of life ... all the while arrogantly proclaiming that somehow it is their right. The whole situation never ceases to amaze and disgust me. With much thanks for his resilience in the face of criticism from traitorous scumbags, I wish him well in his future endeavors ... and truly hope that they include him finding a platform to keep up this very important fight. Posted by: Diane on October 30, 2007 11:16 AM TANCREDO STOOD UP AGAINST MORE AMERICAN OVERPOPULATION Human Being and YoYo think the answer is more American overpopualtion amnesty slaves replacing the Middle Class...but then all their favorite Democrat candidates were hand picked and paid for by the likes of IBM and Microsoft, they could care less about us Americans getting a working living or our kids having a remote chance at a decent job and a house of their own. Wake up, stop being so negative and join the real intelligent liberals like me [and Tancredo]; for depopulation in America! Posted by: Softwarengineer on October 30, 2007 12:36 PM GREAT NEWS - One less racist to run his mouth. Could it be that he knows he will lose re-election due to his blatant racist views? Posted by: Mario J. Del Curto on October 30, 2007 01:35 PM yoyo, "Bombing Mecca as a deterrent for Islamic facism, give me a break. If that was not outright display of intolerance and bigotry then I fail to understand what else is." I know you FAIL to understand so let me help you. The only thing on the face of this Planet that is intolerant and FULL of bigotry IS Islam. It is EXTREMELY INTOLERANT, VIOLENT, DESTRUCTIVE, HATEFUL, NASTY and EVIL. Faith Freedom.org - Not that I expect you to actually check it out as people who protect islam or defend islam cannot handle the truth. Posted by: American Tax Payer on October 30, 2007 01:36 PM There are many ways to measure victory. Whether he wins the Presidency or not, Tom will have been victorious. Posted by: Hessie L.ris on October 30, 2007 02:50 PM THIS WAS TRULY A SAD DAY WHEN I HEARD THAT CONGRESSMAN TAMCREDO WAS RETIRING FROM THE HOUSE. HEWAS MY HERO AND STOOD UP FOR EVERYTHING THAT I BELIEVE IN. GOD BLESS YOU REP. TANCREDO. Posted by: aloha on October 30, 2007 03:02 PM Human Being said that Tancredo was a fear monger. Now suppose Human Being had a child and wanted a safe environment for that child and wanted that child to thrive. Would it be fair to say that Human Being was motivated by fear? Hopefully we would all realize that he or she was motivated by love. Look at the immigration situation throughout the West. There is an obvious pattern to it. Some of us realize that there is something to be preserved, but it seems that if we write what we are really thinking then our comments might be deleted. I did not make any negative statements about particular groups of people. I just summarized the situation in stark terms. We can't be afraid to say what we are really thinking. Posted by: Hal K on October 30, 2007 03:03 PM HE`LL STILL BE FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE... EVEN AS THE PRO-ILLEGAL LOONS USE THE OLD AND TIRED RACISM AND XENOPHOBE NONSENSE AS USUAL. Posted by: American Me on October 30, 2007 03:10 PM A TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT!!! I love his mantra….. Posted by: Mary on October 30, 2007 05:30 PM Oh, O, JMG is somehow profitting from illegal immigration personally. I can always translate these messages, they have the clear ring of 1) greed, or 2) laziness. P.S. JMG, everywhere that illegal labor has not yet come to "help" Americans is doing just fine. That would be about 75percent of the U.S. Lord sometimes I just want to give up on these people. Posted by: Bobby on October 30, 2007 06:23 PM He's probably as disgusted with the jerks in Congress, as the rest of us are. Thanks for everything, Tom. The American people appreciate it. I hope you will continue to aid in the illegal immigration issue. Good luck. Posted by: Born American on October 30, 2007 06:38 PM Yeah, Mario J. Del Curto, now if we "Americans" could only find a way to eliminate or get LA RAZA, LULAC, MECHA, and the many other virulently, racist organizations to go away. Posted by: Bobby on October 30, 2007 07:20 PM Tom Tancredo is just as valuable to America as Lou Dobbs IS! Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign Support Petition RON PAUL - TOM TANCREDO IN '08! Ron Paul Grass-roots Amazes CNN "It's Your Country. Take It Back." Tom Tancredo Posted by: DinTN on October 30, 2007 07:48 PM Tom Tancredo is just as valuable to America as Lou Dobbs IS! Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign Support Petition RON PAUL - TOM TANCREDO IN '08! Ron Paul Grass-roots Amazes CNN "It's Your Country. Take It Back." Tom Tancredo Posted by: DinTN on October 30, 2007 07:49 PM I love this man and find him to be among the most honorable of politicians. Since when is it a racist view to want to control international criminals entering a country they have to right to enter, to work in a country they have no right to work in and who think nothing of stealing the IDs of American citizens, both living and dead, and children to do so. I wonder what kind of mess we would be in now, if this man among men hadn't started the Immigration Reform Caucus. I admire his tenacity, his patriotism and his drive. He will continue to be a mover and a shaker in this country since he refuses to be influenced by political correctness. Oh yes, and once again--hispanic is not a race--it is an ethnic class. Too bad more of them don't have the class it would take to fix their own countries and stop being criminals in ours. Bravo, Tom, you have done more for making the immigration mess known to the world than anyone else. You are my hero and always will be. Posted by: jaded on October 30, 2007 07:58 PM I apologise for the double post. Why do I get an error message only to find out it actually posted??? Anyone else get errors like this? I stll hope... Posted by: DinTN on October 30, 2007 08:19 PM Sorry for the double post. It happens way to often here. Says an error occured and didn't post but it actually did post. BTW: RON PAUL ON JAY LENO TONIGHT! 10-31 RON PAUL - TOM TANCREDO IN '08! Posted by: DinTN on October 30, 2007 09:11 PM Thanks, Tom. I really appreciate you trying to get your message out about illegal immigration. I can't believe how many people don't realize our county is being taken over. I want it back and that is why I surpport you. Posted by: Yvonne on October 30, 2007 10:05 PM run for allard's seat he is retiring, on immigration allard was actually pretty good voted the right way usually alhtough not actively fighitng it either, THIS CAN BALANCE THE OTHER COLORADO SEAT BY salazar A latino RECONQUISTA, who won by 1% over coors yes COORS THE BEER COMPANY Posted by: impeachbush on October 30, 2007 10:53 PM IF TOM TANCREDO WILL RETIRE, BUT WE, AMERICAN PEOPLE, STILL NEED TO KEEP THESE ILLEGALS AND MASS IMMIGRATION UNDER CONTROL, THAT IS WHY, AMERICAN PEOPLE, PLEASE, REMEMBER, THAT IF THE CAPITAN OF THE SHIP IS GONE,BUT WE STILL NEED TO THE WHEEL TO BRING THE SHIP SAFELY HOME...... THE SAME WITH ILLEGAL AND MASS IMMIGRATION: NO MATTER WHO IS RETIRING, BUT WE NEED TO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY, TO SAVE IT FROM THE ILLEGAL AND MASS IMMIGRATION FROM THE THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES!!!!!! NO AMNESTY! Posted by: jack on October 31, 2007 08:56 AM Well, JMG, just because you want to open a certain type of business doesn't mean you have a right to break our laws. Would you defend breaking food sanitation laws because it made it easier to run a restaurant? Or violating regulations pertaining to hazardous wastes in a nursing home? Many of the businesses you mention are not critical to our economy. We would all be a lot healthier if we had fewer restaurants, consumed less meat (and food animals also contribute to global warming when excreting methane), ate less food in general. Hospitality industry -- those weekend vacation trips and weekday business trips not only use illegals, they enslave us to foreign oil, and emit carbon gases. Gardening? -- when done professionally uses a lot of chemicals that end up in ground water; you shouldn't own more than you and your household can mow yourself! By the way, who takes care of most municipal gardens and parks -- US citizens! Posted by: Marianne on October 31, 2007 12:11 PM Thank God for Tancredo. I have supported his campaign. I will continue to support it. I hope he runs against the senate incumbent. I'll support that race too.. Posted by: arthur on October 31, 2007 01:02 PM He`s a true American, and shares the views of most American`s when it comes to illegal immigration. He says what needs to be said, unlike the spineless P.C. infested sell-out cowards we have in Washington now. LaRaza (aka the tan klan) and the other racist hispanic groups, label people like Tancredo racist, when in fact they are the biggest racists out there. He`ll keep fighting, as will we to save our country from the traitor politicians, and the radical groups. FIGHT ON! Posted by: Independent on October 31, 2007 04:44 PM |
