Video: Newt Gingrich Says It's Time to Win the War At Home


"Speaking at the Ames, Iowa Straw Poll, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich urged President Bush to call a special session of Congress to pass emergency legislation requiring anyone arrested for a felony to be checked for legal status. Gingrich cited the illegal immigrant in Newark, NJ who shot four college students execution style, killing three. The illegal immigrant had been arrested twice, including being indicted for raping a young girl and threatening to kill her family. Twice he was released back on the streets," a press release by Gingrich said.
