McCain: [Expletive] you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room

"Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) hasn't spent much time in the Capitol this year as flow he seeks the GOP presidential nomination. But one of his rare appearances this week provided a pretty salty exchange with a fellow Republican. During a meeting Thursday on immigration legislation, McCain and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) got into a shouting match when Cornyn started voicing concerns about the number of judicial appeals that illegal immigrants could receive, according to multiple sources -- both Democrats and Republicans -- who heard firsthand accounts of the exchange from lawmakers who were in the room," the Washington Post reports. "Things got really heated when Cornyn accused McCain of being too busy campaigning for president to take part in the negotiations, which have gone on for months behind closed doors. 'Wait a second here," Cornyn said to McCain. 'I've been sitting in here for all of these negotiations and you just parachute in here on the last day. You're out of line.'"

Ahhhhh, is the RINO upset that Teddy has taken all the glory for this little "compromise"?

I wouldn't vote for him if he were the only candidate on the ballot. I think anyone legistor who chooses to seek the presidency must resign their position because they are no longer working for us but concentrating their time on their campaigns!

HE USED THE "F" WORD

McCain should get his mouth washed out with soap, then go back at the end of the line to perhaps get his American citizenship back; decades from now.

I read all these posts and I really get irritated that these politicians do what THEY want not what WE, the people to whom they are responsible to, want.

When a foreign country, foreign politicians, illegal immigrants who are not legally in this country demand and get what they want it's getting to be the last straw.

In all honesty, I sometimes wonder at what point AMERICAN CITIZENS will revolt against the politicians. There WILL be a point and it isn't that far off. Citizens will start taking matters into their own hands and a revolution (remember many, many years ago - Boston, the British, et al) the citizens of this country took it and took it and finally decided enough was enough! It is just about there again.

It looks like McCain is showing some of his true colors - RED!

The spoiled little brats of the Senate wish to argue about who is the bigger traitor? Rest easy, little Benedicts, there is no need to fight amongst yourselves for the title, you are all heading for the principal's office in 2008, equally guilty. The American People are keeping a list of the infamous that we will never forget. Democrat and Republican, alike. NO AMNESTY.

McCain is a ticking time-bomb ... (Look at that photo shot ... a face only an illegal alien could love : o p )

Posted by: Diane on May 21, 2007 02:08 PM

I can't figure out why McCain is so pro-amnesty. It would be interesting to find out, and
now while he's running for president (ouch), would
be good timing.
What domestic outsourcer employer of illegal
aliens is he in cahoots with ? Or maybe G.W. ?
Or maybe the greed freaks of Corporate Mexico ?
Does anybody know what his game is ?

RINO TRAITOR WHO WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT!

Statistics and links to data sources are at the link below.

Some samples from p60-231.pdf at census.gov graph page 18. Men's median wages are the same as in 1973.

http://www.census.gov/prod/2006pubs/p60-231.pdf

The top 1 percent get 20 percent of national income now, before 1920's immigration restriction and 10 percent now. See U, scroll down below to see graph

This U shaped pattern has been commented on by Ed Rubenstein at Vdare.

7 of the 8 wealthiest senators voted for S 2611.

Wealth of Senators:

http://www.opensecrets.org/pfds/overview.asp?type=W&cycle=2005&filter=S

Rank Name Minimum Net Worth Maximum Net Worth

1 Herb Kohl (D-Wis) $219,098,029 to $234,549,004 Voted Yes S. 2611

2 John Kerry (D-Mass) $165,741,511 to $235,262,100 Voted Yes S. 2611

3 Jay Rockefeller (D-WVa) $78,150,023 to $101,579,003 Not Voting S. 2611

4 Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif) $43,343,464 to $98,660,021 Voted Yes S. 2611

5 Lincoln D. Chafee (R-RI) $41,153,105 to $64,096,019 Voted Yes S. 2611

6 Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) $38,198,170 to $90,733,019 Voted Yes S. 2611

7 John McCain (R-Ariz) $25,071,142 to $38,043,014 Voted Yes S. 2611

8 Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass) $19,189,049 to $93,043,004 Voted Yes S. 2611

Yes, McCain knows more about immigration than we do. McCain knows $38,043,014 more than we do. McCain knows that immigration keeps median wages down.

Worker productivity went up from 1973 even though median wages for men didn't, scroll down for graph:

http://www.econbrowser.com/archives/2005/08/the_underreport.html

So the productivity gains went into profits that pushed up stock prices. That is why McCain is worth $38,043,014. McCain knows immigration keeps wages down, that pushes profits and stock up because our productivity kept going up even as our wages didn't. McCain has the money in his $38,043,014. That's what he knows.

I have always suspected that John McCain is the "real life" Manchurian Candidate; that his years in a Communist prison has left him with deep psychological scars, as well as the very real possibility that the Communist brainwashing he underwent has left seeds deep inside his mind that may one day sprout. The American people should be made aware of this danger, and the premise of the excellent book and film The Manchurian Candidate may not be such a remote possbility.

McCains is TOAST...Why he continues to waste money running for an office he hasn't a prayer of winning is a mystery to me!!! Never liked the guy myself..I've got a good nose for traitors...Ironic that a POW ends up being a chief traitor to his own country.

Posted by: mary on May 21, 2007 06:32 PM

We can expect more of this behavior -- more flailing and ranting from McCain -- the further his campaign sinks. Imagine basing a campaign on amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and the failed, incompetent war policies of George Bush.

BTW, Romney's statement against the illegal alien amnesty bill was interesting and I congratulate him for it, although we'll have to hold him to it and keep the pressure on him. I believe Jeb Bush is his buddy.

Bob, I too have been curious about why McCain is so pro-illegal immigrant and the only thing I could find out was about his second wife's drug problems. McCain used his position as a Senator to keep her out of going to trial and prison and there were references to her drug connection being an illegal. Perhaps, he is afraid there is far too much hiding behind that issue? Also, McCain left his first wife for the second as her family had money so one would just have to follow the money with him to find out what his agenda is besides padding his own coffers at the expense of ours. Honor seems to have alluded him since he got back to America after being held hostage for so long. It appears to have done something to his ability to reason. Thank God, he will never be President. Someday his tantrums will show his true colors and hopefully this exchange will show that there is something truly wrong with him when blowing a gasket is how he reacts to things--just like his buddy Cadillac Eddy.

John McCaine is so linked to the TREASONABLE
SCANDAL AMNESTY, that he has less than 10%
shot at the nomination. Guliani is likewise injured by his Sanctuary City policy in New York. I think the only mainstream candidates that have any chance are Romney and very likable actor, former Senator, Fred Thompson. I spoke to one of Duncan Hunter's staffers, and suggested he and Tracredo should have a talk with Thompson. I think a Thompson/Hunter or Tancredo ticket would fly. His TV positive role exposure as a D.A. &
general staight shooter persona and , combine
nicely with his time in the Senate. Here is an electable guy who thinks a good deal like us.
I'd like to see Thompson, Tancredo and Hunter
form a "truth squad" and point up all the crap
in this bill that BOOSH's croanies, and most of the DEMS are pushing. AMNESTY will bring down the DEMS and the monster BOOSH's crowd like a
sleep dart in a raging bear or lion!

I have NO, absolutely NO, respect for this traitor. I will vote for hillary before I vote fo rhim. I hoep the good people of Arizona throws him out on hiss keester.

I saw that disaster of a republican party leader, martinez, saying this bill will help the republican party. How could anyone get to that position and be so stupid, blind or both. This new bill will kill the republican party. I will leave the party the same day this POS bill passes. That is a promise not a threat. The GOP is no longer a party I can support.

Well mclamebrain is right about one thing, he does know more than anyone in the room about how to sell out your country. Wait, actually he's tied for first with the fat drunken loser kennedy.

I wonder how mclamebrain explains his 2% rating from the latest MNSBC poll? He probably just figured that many Americans weren't watching, and the illegals who were watching didn't understand them because they don't HABLA INGLES!
mccain...what a total loser.

The damn fools who are pushing for this so-called amnesty don't know anything about learning from the lessons of history. The Amnesty of 1986 which Reagan signed into law (And subsequently regretted) WAS A TOTAL FAILURE. IF this latest amnesty bill passes, it will have dire, dangerous and disastrous consequences for the United States of America and its citizens. We may very well wind up like Yugoslavia, and you know what happened to that nation. I have a four year old great nephew and hope that when he grows up he will not have to fight in a civil war. The American people should come first, NOT THESE ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO ARE IN NO POSITION TO DEMAND ANYTHING. Many of them hate us, and that is a fact. I will always support LEGAL IMMIGRATION, and the strict enforcement of our current immigration laws that are being flouted and ignored not only by these illegal aliens, but many of our so-called public servants. This nightmare of an amnesty must not pass, or I truly believe there will be hell to pay in our country.

no amnesty to illegals! deport all them back and fine them for violating American laws! AMERICAN PEOPLE FIRST!
