Michelle Malkin: May Day Open Borders Math

Michelle Malkin says the New York Times story today about the uptick in deportations is misleading. "It sounds like we're getting serious about immigration enforcement--until I remind you of this inconvenient truth that will get glossed over in all the MSM sob stories today . . . There are nearly three times as many officially designated illegal alien fugitives freed by the feds as there are illegal aliens who have been removed over the last year. Just doing the context-setting and number-crunching the rest of the MSM won't do..."

We'll never know the true numbers because nobody is allowed to ask about immigration status when arresting, giving services, treating or teaching. It's also interesting how the estimated number of illegals has stayed the same for the last year. I bet if we count 'em it will be double. The news doesn't report the immigration status of the people wanted or charged with all these crimes every day either! Wonder how people would react if they knew the TRUTH?

It is, in so many ways, up to Americans, whether the corruption continues in this nation, or not. This thought is so scary to many American citizens, because Americans, despite being good hearted people overall, are probably the most politically naive people in the world. Maybe we want it that way. "Some big government father figure is going to look out for me as long as I faithfully go to the polls come election time and vote for my party. Everything will be taken care of." Yeah, we can see the results of these beliefs. We need to make an attempt to take our country into our own hands. We could support Congressman Tancredo, or it might be someone else we belive in. The main point is that we have faith and believe that we can make a difference, and we will. It has always been the persistent believers that have changed things. Not the immoblized masses. Making calls to the politicians works. It stopped the amnesty disaster last year.

We allow 2 MILLION into our country legally each year!! Remember the terrorists who took down the World Trade Center Towers!! "Over-stayed visas", and by the way, WHO TRUSTS THE GOVERNMENT NUMBERS ANYWAY!! They say it's only 12 million undocumented workers as opposed to 20-30 million ILLEGAL ALIENS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS WAITING!! We are going down unless good men and women do something instead of nothing for a change. Don't wait until it hits you like a "2 by 4" in the face to realize that I did nothing for the others, and now I'm alone. Who'll stand up for me?
