Bank of America CEO Defiant on Credit Cards for Illegal Aliens


Vows to Continue Program

"Bank of America CEO Kenneth Lewis has written an editorial for the Wall Street Journal explaining his side of the credit card for illegal aliens his bank offers. In yet another bone-headed move, it's subscriber-only. A large percentage of those who subscribe to that rag will probably already support their position; it's the rest of us he should be trying to hustle. This also underlines that that bank is part of a elite that is indifferent to the concerns of the vast majority of Americans," writes the Lonewacko blog.

J.D. Hayworth explained the reasons behind B of A's decision to start the program. "Sure, cold hard cash is at the root of the B of A's decision to market credit cards to illegal aliens -- a decision that has ignited a firestorm of criticism across the country, and the type of publicity that any business would rather avoid -- but why would a financial institution take up this type of dubious, dangerous business?
