Sessions Has Right Idea on Minimum Wage


"Here we have an interesting situation. A Republican senator proposes legislation that would help to discourage the hiring of illegal aliens and the Democrats in the United States Senate resist that legislation," says Michael Cutler of Family Security Matters. "I believe Sessions is absolutely correct. If you really want to raise the wage of blue collar workers, do whatever you can to drive illegal aliens out of the workforce. This will have a positive impact on wages and working conditions for the low income workers who often find themselves displaced by illegal aliens who are attractive to unscrupulous employers because they will work for much lower wages under much worse conditions."
