Border Patrol Officer Wounded in Texas
Providing evidence again that our Border Patrol officers are literally putting their lives
on the line as they work to control our nation’s borders, a BP agent in Texas who tried to arrest a supposed drug smuggler entering illegally from Mexico was shot at and wounded.
[FAIR comment: This border violence is the environment in which BP agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean were operating when they tried to apprehend a drug smuggler and wounded him as he fled back into Mexico. We continue to see injustice in the treatment of these two agents as if they had acted to deliberately wound an innocent civilian who had accidentally strayed across the border.]

Question of the day: is the federal government going to say that the BP should not have shot at the drug smuggle? The border is run by the drug smugglers and I am being to wonder if the federal government is not.
Yeah, so let's see what happens to the criminal.
Maybe he'll get a slap on the wrist or be told to show up for a deportation hearing.

There is no such thing as an unarmed drug smuggler. I bet if some people were to go and look, they could find the gun that scum bag had when Ramos and Compeon were chasing him. It hasn't been that long ago that Americans, true Americans, knew how to act to actually win a war. It's too bad what we have in Washington now amounts to nothing more than political maneuvering, and what gets me is, it never did. When Americans were acting like Americans we didn't engage someone in war and then let it go on for years, we would of sent enough troops to annialate all the militia and Al-queada and send a message to the world. Now, we are nothing but B.S. and B.S. threats don't get respect. Impeach Bush, and return America to the American people. Fire Gonzales.
Hope the agent doesn't go to prison for getting in the way of the criminals bullet. How impolite of that agent.
On another note, would be interested in hearing FAIR's views on why they do not support our military providing border enforcement. I don't really care WHO does it as long as SOMEONE does it. Unfortunately, its a job that requires guns, and our military has better guns. Has it not reached the point that the invasion could be called an undeclared (undocumented, excuse me) war by Mexico against the U.S.?
I was watching the LOU DOBBS show yesterday, &
they reported a poll,that 95% of the show's viewers are in favor of a Presidential pardon. Maybe BOOSH would compromise by waiving any prison time, but ending their jobs. Sometimes you need to meet a chimp halfway! I'd suggest the phrase: "NO PRISION FOR THE B.P. AGENTS" and pass that on to the White House through a few Congressmen with access to "W".

I'm not saying any more Americans would have died, only that they would have traded their valuable lives for an even more noble purpose. Mexico has 40 million potential troops on our soil. That is a sharp knife to our jugular. The ISLAMIC NUTBALLS are mostly a world away! It is no co-incidence that at least dozens of islamics have gone to Mexico, learned some spanish, taken latin names for clandestine entry.Make no mistake, CHAVEZ, CASTRO, IRAN, N.KOREA, ALQUEDA,& maybe 2/3 of the population of Mexico want us DEAD, and want Mexican nationals to inherit our territory. That is the cold reality.

Wounded border patrol officer. Now there's a sitiuation that never, ever, bothers the Mexican "human rights" groups. Lulac, Maldef, La Raza(tan clan), Mecha(for the race everything, outside the race nothing), and dozens of others that have infested this country. There are no Lulacs, Maldefs, and La Raza"s in Old Mexico, are there?
MEXICO MUST CALL US BORDER PATROL PROTECTION "HATE CRIMES"
A curious thing about Central/South America, Asia and even Africa; compared to the USA/Canada and Europe, these continent group nations seem to be composed of one main ethnic group.
Not that I really care, but you know, why do nations like Mexico, almost entirely made up of one main ethnic group, even think about accusing the USA of racial hate crimes, when North America and even Europe are so much more ethnically diverse than their country?
Ramos and Compean should be decorated, not prosecuted, for defending the homeland. It was their duty as federal officers, and I think the public is shocked to hear that we have a "no persue" policy. The known smuggler was treated, free of cost, for his wound at a U.S. military installation, granted immunity from prosecution by the Attorney General to testify against Ramos and Compean, and is now SUING the Border Patrol for $5 million dollars! That is the biggest travesty of Justice that this person has ever seen. What kind of message are we sending to our Border Patrol when two brave agents are told by their attorneys that they could face twenty years imprisonment for doing their job?
Ella, that is a great idea, but it should be for more as he wasn't shot in the butt. I really hope he does this and sues anyone and everyone he can. Normally I am not for a lot of lawsuits but no one should be shot at for doing their jobs. I don't care if they are in law enforcement. It is inexcusable for mexio to ignore how violent their people are. Coming into this country by the millions illegals is in itself an act of violence.
