Bush To Address Nation on Monday, May Announce National Guard Deployment

Monday night in a prime-time Oval Office address, the White House announced on Friday. White House spokesman Tony Snow said the White House was asking the U.S. television networks to carry the speech live at 8 p.m (Midnight GMT)," Reuters reports. According to the Drudgereport and National Review sites Bush may announce the deployment of 5,000 National Guard troops to assist with border enforcement Monday.
