Michelle Malkin: Here We Go Again - Illegal Aliens on the March "They're baaack. Illegal alien public relations experts are advising their followers to put aside the Mexican flags and tone down their radicalism, Comments
In response to the recent mass national rallies fearlessly staged by the illegal alien lobby, The Dustin Inman Society is suggesting that Americans nationwide stay home from work and not spend any money on April 17. 2006 - income tax day. The country and its government needs to witness a day without Americans. It is not an overstatement to observe that the federal government has abandoned the American people and we teeter on the brink of national suicide. The well-funded illegal alien lobby has been successful in galvanizing the millions of illegal aliens in the nation to march in American streets demanding no less than open borders, continued selective law enforcement and amnesty for people who should be in fear of apprehension and deportation. It has also galvanized many Americans who are seeing for the first time the true nature and result of our intentionally unsecured borders. Enough! The message to the U. S. government and the world is that another amnesty for illegals is tantamount to erasing any pretense of a nation of secure borders, rule of law and a common language. Amnesty - by any name - does not stop illegal immigration. We have reached the point in our national history at which we as a nation must choose whether to resist …or to wave the white flag of surrender. We are suggesting that Americans who do not work in medical, law enforcement or emergency capacities stay home from work on April 17 and that we, as a united people, reply to the government that has refused to protect us by refraining from spending any money. Those who have nothing to fear from violating any law that is not beneficial to them are not the only group with power in these United States. We are demanding that the American government offer the same protection in the United States that the Mexican government provides its people. This is our country. We dishonor our grandfathers if we do not try to protect the republic that was lovingly passed on to us. A national day of public opposition to illegal immigration April 17, 2006 ! http://www.thedustininmansociety.com/blog/?p=98 Posted by: Carolyn on April 10, 2006 12:10 PM This is going to get out of hand. You just watch. Posted by: Gail Roma on April 10, 2006 12:12 PM These demonstrations never cease to amaze and infuriate me. Flying the mexican flag above the American flag should be considered an act of sedition and the responsible individuals should be jailed, plain and simple. And, what's more, these illegals aren't just gathering in an effort to persuade politicians, they are DEMANDING that America give them amnesty. More, now than ever, we need to keep the heat on the politicians, media channels, and special interest groups that are fighting for amnesty. Email, fax, or call politicians and let them know that any proposals that even remotely resemble amnesty is unpatriotic and entirely unacceptable. Let them know that we won't tolerate scum politicians pandering to illegals, subversive Mexican nationalist groups, big business, and foreign thugs like Vicente Fox. We are under seige and the future of our nation and the American way of life is at stake. We all know how devastating it will be to our nation if our politicians capitulate to the illegals' demands. Just the promise of amnesty is going to open the floodgates of illegals at the border. It's probably already happening, with thousands and thousands of illegals scrambling to get here for Uncle Sam's Amnesty Buffet. I agree that Americans need to also work together and stay home from work. We Americans are the majority in terms of population and taxpayers. Thus, the majority of the tax funds guzzled and misspent by goverment comes out of our pockets. As such, we should demand tax rebates to reflect the fact that our goverment has failed to protect our borders and enforce our laws. Why should we be expected to pay for govermental services that have failed miserably? C'mon fellow patriotic Americans, we need to stand up and hold the amnesty advocating politicians accountable for the acts of treason that they are proposing. And, let's support the politicians and leaders that are fighting amnesty and pushing for border secuirty and law enforcement. Posted by: Patriotic Son fo America on April 10, 2006 12:43 PM Here in New England, it is "Town Meeting" season, when the legal residents of hundreds of towns meet to conduct business using the simplest form of democracy. At town meeting, any citizen has the right to offer a resolution for consideration and approval (i.e., a vote) by his/her fellow citizens. I would like to offer a resolution to my fellow citizens at town meeting on the subject of Illegal Immigration and the respect for the rule of law. I'd like to keep it as simple as possible, and was wondering if there was any language already out there, so I don't have to spend time trying to draft something up myself. Of course, I'm guessing that if any such resolution language is made available, that there is at least one person in every town willing to "bring it up at town meeting". Hundreds of towns voting to re-affirm the rule of law would, I believe, be more powerful than any number of people (pro- or con-)protesting in the streets.
Posted by: Stephen Buckley on April 10, 2006 12:57 PM On Apr 17 we need to phone and fax the he!! out of our reps in washington. They can have the streets, we'll take the ears of the reps. Posted by: cicerores on April 10, 2006 01:03 PM Yes, come out of the shadows. Show us where you are. Posted by: Citizen Jim on April 10, 2006 01:11 PM I agree with the counter-protesters: This is our country and these thugs need to go back home. Posted by: Born American on April 10, 2006 03:50 PM I know several people who have contacted their local media about the April 17th protest. I hope others will too, so it is a success. Posted by: Born American on April 10, 2006 04:00 PM I am just livid when I hear the term "we're all immigrants". Most of us are Ellis Island (LEGAL_ Immigrant families, legal residents, Black Americans, etc.... We're all legally here. Walking into America illegal is not an immigrant. Its a CRIME (i.e. CRIMINAL ACT). I just don't get the chutzpah. How dare they quote a GREAT AMERICAN, MARTIN LUTHER KING. I'm white, and I'll tell you, MLK was a righteous man, who lead a cause that was real. The organizers of these rallies have no respect. Posted by: America on April 10, 2006 04:08 PM I've another idea for a protest - and a perfectly legal one: Don't pay your taxes. No, I'm not saying don't mail in your tax return. No, I'm not one of these fruitcakes claiming that the 19th Amendment was never ratified. It's easier than all that: just increase the number of exemptions on your W4 to 10 or 20. So long as you're up-to-date by the end of the year it won't matter how you paid it during the year. If enough Americans did that, the federal government would be bled dry of the money it needed to operate. Posted by: Craig on April 10, 2006 04:09 PM Can't Americans learn through observation? The way to solve this problem of illegal immigration is to become utterly intransigent, uncooperative, hard to please etc. if your kids in school and the school is not serving them get together with other parents and threaten to pull them out. Do you like Mexican food? Don't eat in any mexican restuarants. Does a certain beer company donate to radical Mexican organizations? Dont' drink that beer, but let them know why. Do politicians vote on issues that hurt you? eliminate them by not voting for them consistently. Don't take any bull. I'snt that how illegal aliens and radical mexican organizations work? Do you miss eating hot dogs when baseball is on strike? Then you are a weak person who deserves to be taken advantage of FULLY.!!That's right the problem is you/me. Period. Posted by: Robert on April 10, 2006 04:50 PM MR. PRESIDENT, I'M HEADED TO MEXICO So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that 2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might 8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy 12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, Thank you so much for your kind help.
Posted by: Greg on April 10, 2006 06:03 PM How can Malkin say anything about immigration, May be it would be better to deport her back to China. Posted by: whiteram on April 10, 2006 06:28 PM This morning, our news station was reporting that some employers were allowing their employees a day off with pay to participate in the protests...now just think what would have happened if I had asked for the same privilege to counter protest??? It must be great to have your own paid activists on your payroll! That`s because the reconquista organizers told them not to bring them, and that`s the only reason why. If they weren`t told that, there would of been Mexican rags, anti American signs, and the racist chants again. It was just a big joke too see the illegals pretending to love this country. Do they really think the American people are that stupid. Posted by: INDEPENDENT on April 10, 2006 08:45 PM I just received a call from the National Republican party asking me for my support and, of course, my donation. I first told the young man that what I was about to say was very grim and that he was not to take it personally--that it was not directed to him at all. I told him that not only would I not make a donation (I told him I figure they owe me due to it costing us approx. $700 per household per year to cover the cost of illegals here), but that after being a lifelong Republican, I would definitely vote democrat or independent if ANY kind of amnesty were given to the illegal aliens (aka. "immigrants"). I told him the Republican party had betrayed us all by ignoring this problem until it became the enormous, festering infection that it now is. Incredible that they expect to continue to receive support! All I have to say is: they can not have mine except for a rare few who have voted for enforcement every time and no amnesty. Posted by: J on April 10, 2006 09:13 PM Why has no one mentioned that the Mexican government might take responsibility for their citizens. If it is ok for the Mexican citizens to illegally invade the U.S., why not demand that Mexico pay for their care...say maybe $2,000 a head. That way our hospitals and schools won't go upsidedown. Posted by: Lupe Rodriguez on April 10, 2006 09:49 PM Malkin is just another windbag whose main purpose is to capitalize on the immigration situation. I doubt she actually gives a damn. Hell, she wrote a book about the internment of the Japanese and how we would be justified to do this again today to the muslims. At least she got that right, but she forgets to mention that the Phillippines are also host to several anti-American, Islamic, terrorist organizations including the Abu Sayyaf Group, al-Qaida, New People's Army, Alex Boncayo Brigade, Moro Ntional Liberation Front, Jemaah Islamiyah, and the Japanese Red Army. All of these organizations are active in the Phillippines today and pose a national security threat to the U.S. Of course, since Malkin is such a "patriot" I'm sure she would support rounding up all the Filipinos in the U.S., including herself, and sending them to GITMO. Posted by: TruePatriot on April 10, 2006 10:00 PM whitearm, wow, it is rare to see such open hatred and bigotry. Your ignorance only justifies our struggle. Michelle Malkin is not "oriental". She is Asian. "Oriental" is a thing, not a person, and specifically, not a great American of Chineese decent. But of course, to someone of your obvious advanced educational accomplishments, that is a minor point. You are not even intelligent enough to realize the irony of YOU calling somone else a racist. Posted by: Weary Citizen on April 10, 2006 10:04 PM It is just amazing at the amount of horrid things I've been hearing with respect to illegal immigrants. How can illegal immigrants be referred to as scum and a bunch of other malicous terms too low to even mention. How can you people be so cruel? This country was founded by immigrants, REMEMBER! These people are fighting for a just cause. They are not criminals they only come here in search of a better life for them and for their families and have been spit on and looked down on for too long. It is time to respect those that do all the work that most common folk won't even consider. Many of you that oppose immigration are just plain racist! The hate that was manifested towards blacks in the past is now directed towards a different crowd- Latinos. When will racism end in the U.S.? The so-called land of the free and brave. Posted by: Concerned Citizen on April 10, 2006 10:24 PM Let me be clear: if ther is an amnesty, our country is dead. An amnesty would lead 12-15 million illegal aliens on the path to citizenship, which means VOTING. The result then of congress passing an amnesty would mean changing the voters. As Bertolt Brcht once said: "The government has lost confidence in the people. A new people must be formed." The only response to congressional amnesty is simple: RESISTANCE. That means strikes. That means demonstrations. Posted by: Craig on April 10, 2006 11:14 PM
The people that are saying that we are all immigrants are wrong. The first of our families that came over were immigrants. The rest of us who were born her or became naturalized are CITIZENS. MLK quote: Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. Posted by: t'd off on April 11, 2006 12:30 AM www.illegalimmigrantprotest.com/ Time to organize our own protest. Get involved. Posted by: Red,White and Blue Hearted on April 11, 2006 03:29 AM Whiteram: She is one of the voices on our side and I do not like your comments. She is Filippina and her family obeyed the law to get here, just like many other folks did... five in my family. So, not sure where you get your deep seated resentment of all other races, but you need to wake up. This board is about illegal immigration, not legal immigration, however, some would believe that too needs to be corrected. We all came from somewhere... Europe, Ireland, Africa, and China... as well mexico - most legally, some by force... different times. Posted by: Greg on April 11, 2006 05:04 AM At least one speaker on the rally held at the Washington, DC mall, Imar Johari Abdul Malik, Outreach Director of Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center, Fairfax, VA suggested to the throngs the very scenario I have raised in previous posts and emails to my representatives. That is, amending the United States Constitution to suit the needs, of not only the illegal immigrants, but also will have the effect of annexing a portion of the southern US border states to Mexico. In other words, if Congress is allowed to pass legislation permiting 12 million more people to have an easy path to the citizenship roles of our country, be prepared to see a massive voting bloc formed in the next 20-25 years that will severely alter our constitution. These people owe no allegiance to the United States and are only concerned about themselves and Mexico. They still believe the southern portion of the United States rightfully belongs to Mexico. It looks as though we are about to lose this country to a foreign government without them having to fire a shot. Something no other country has been able to do, until now. Thanks Congress. Posted by: Esel C. on April 11, 2006 06:42 AM One Mexican day off did not make a difference to me and I live in Dallas, TX. Illegals could all disappear and it would not create a vacancy! But could we as a nation sustain several weeks of boycotting the Walmarts and the Tyson Foods and all the others we know and even suspect that provide the employment that drives the demand for all illegal people to overtake our borders and become the criminals they are? Posted by: Jim in Dallas on April 11, 2006 08:00 AM The time for argument and debate is over. The sooner Americans understand it, the better. Our backs are to the wall. The only solution available to us is WAR.
