Governors' Amnesty Support Not "Reality Based"

"The Western Governors' Association has inadvertently exposed the big lie about immigration. Open-border shills claim the nonstop flood of cheap labor from Mexico is good for America. But the region that should be benefiting the most from immigration overflow benefits the least . . . If immigrants are so gosh-darn good for the economy, what turned Arizona and New Mexico into states of emergencies?" asks Dimitri Vassilaros in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "[D]o not assume the governors are proposing arresting American employers of illegals, deporting all trespassers and then sealing the southern border. The association unanimously approved an immigration reform resolution that supposedly is 'based in reality.' It essentially is virtual amnesty for most illegals . . . With 18 more work visas, the association's governors could be supplanted with foreign politicians. The cheap labor would save taxpayers a fortune. And presumably, those immigrants would be more productive."

This non-stop flow of illegals, isn't good for anyone except the illegals.
Deport these useless governors along with the illegals.

Bush continues to betray America. He wants the UAE to manage our ports, he wants to give illegal aliens a 'gold card' just like that. No skin off his back. He is not up for re-election but he can destroy the Republican party's membership. It is unbelievable but there it is. King George fawning over illegal aliens and spitting at the citizens at America.

Who pays for the business's cheap labor? We do!
We pay to educate their kid ,welfare for the wives and medical care for the whole lot. The Govenors should look out for the taxpayers, not their own political contributers

Governors know that the lifeblood of their states is revenue...they are catering to builders, tech companies, and the ag industry...it really doesn't matter to them if the ends doesn't justify the means...they can simply raise taxes on you and I and keep educating the children of illegals, paying for their healthcare, wiping up the legal messes they create!

So long as they continue the "it's a federal problem" mantra, they will continue to cater to illegals...

The costs of education, health care, and other benefits for illegal aliens outweighs the benefits of cheap labor. If the federal government wants amnesty, then they should re-imburse the states for the costs. What about enforcing our immigration laws? In addition we need a national I.D. card that can't be bought on the street corner for $20.

With the way they're talking they want their cake and eat it too. They aren't worried about Americans losing their jobs, they're worried about losing theirs. We have a very big problem with immigration legal and illegal. Not only are illegals taking lower skilled jobs, legal immigrants are putting high tech workers out the door. With the cheap labor illegal aliens provide corporations are doing the same thing to higher paying jobs with legal immigrants. They see how much profit they make using illegals, so they're doing the samething with high tech jobs as well. If they pass any guest worker program even if it leaves illegal aliens out, American workers will be screwed. They will claim they need to increase legal immigration to take the place of the illegals that get deported, while they put even more Americans out of work. This is a catch 22, we get screwed either way it's done. We have to stop immigration legal and illegal completely, until we get control of our borders and deport the illegals. Then we've got to get every American working that wants to work, before legal immigration resumes. We've got to stop the sale of America by our government to corporate America and foreign governments, and we don't have much time to do it.
