Governors' Amnesty Support Not "Reality Based"
"The Western Governors' Association has inadvertently exposed the big lie about immigration. Open-border shills claim the nonstop
flood of cheap labor from Mexico is good for America. But the region that should be benefiting the most from immigration overflow benefits the least . . . If immigrants are so gosh-darn good for the economy, what turned Arizona and New Mexico into states of emergencies?" asks Dimitri Vassilaros in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "[D]o not assume the governors are proposing arresting American employers of illegals, deporting all trespassers and then sealing the southern border. The association unanimously approved an immigration reform resolution that supposedly is 'based in reality.' It essentially is virtual amnesty for most illegals . . . With 18 more work visas, the association's governors could be supplanted with foreign politicians. The cheap labor would save taxpayers a fortune. And presumably, those immigrants would be more productive."
