Hilarious! The heat's on, Senator. Unlock your door, come out and play.

I guess he is not a man of his word. Whats wrong McCain did you bite off more than you can chew? Guess what? Your not going to be president either so go ahead and talk to FAIR. Hey McCain do you want to be known as a liar like Bush?

Posted by: Shane on June 23, 2005 11:05 AM

Im telling you McCain is crazy people like him need to be in a home somewhere. McCain will prove to be a liar just like Bush. Hey McCain if you cant keep your word shut the hell up. His mouth done got him in to something he cant get out of. I think im going to call Phil Valentine right now and let his listeners know that he cant keep his word. Yes little people like myself can make a difference.

A watched pot never boils? Wait, was that a door creaking or someone letting out a slow deliberate political fart.

Posted by: John Martin on June 23, 2005 11:19 AM

The scary part is: Hillary is watching. At least Senator McCain says what he believes, she only speaks in calculated lies.

Bush promised "no amnesty". As treasonous as this lie is, this was only to placate American corporate sponsers.

The Chinese contributed to Bill's re-election campaign in exchange for missle technology, and that was years ago. What have they been up to lately? Who are the big Hillary sponsers going to be? What is their real agenda?

If we don't stop the third world influx into our country, we will fall into race wars and abject poverty. Somehow I am even more afraid of a Hillary presidency.

Hi:

This is Sen. John McCain. My scheduler just told told me that I will be sick on debate day, whenever that is. Umm...yeah, that's right. I'm sorry, but when your sick, your sick. Can't be helped. I'm sure you will understand. AH-CHOO!! See, I'm not lying. AU-CHOO!! (Honey, break open the champagne. I'm off the hook. Au-Choo! See!)

Posted by: John MCain on June 23, 2005 12:30 PM

John McCain is a traitor to the American people. He will never debate if it is a fair fight because he cannot explain why has voted on H1B visas and previous amnesty proposals.

He is selling out the american people for a one world government run by the United Nations.

Posted by: ScottyDog on June 23, 2005 02:46 PM

McCain just blew his hopes for the Presidency, any debate he has with FAIR is one that he will lose badly, he cannot respond reasonbly to the American people for another Amnesty. His opponents for the next Presidency will jump on this. I can't believe that he was so stupid to offer this debate!

Posted by: Mike on June 23, 2005 02:47 PM

Someone ought to yell "Mao! Diddy Mao!" at him until he shows up.

Posted by: Geoff Strebel on June 23, 2005 02:52 PM

I'll vote for Hillary in a New York second before I would vote for a lying scumbag liar like King George II! At least you and I KNOW Hillary is a b*tch and can deal with that fact.

Posted by: Macman on June 23, 2005 03:00 PM

Darn. So much for my theory. I've been saying that the open borders folks are now finally willing to debate the issue, now that they see they are losing politically.

However, perhaps they still aren't willing to debate.

Posted by: lance_sjogren on June 23, 2005 03:17 PM

Like I already worte to him. He is a traitor, no better then Jany Girl. They both are cut from the same cloth. Both of them are giving aid and comfort to our enemies. I think that a double trial for treason would be a TV series worth watching.

Posted by: Loren on June 23, 2005 04:29 PM

C'mon, John. You're not chicken are you? We know how much you like to expound at length on your views as well as your vision for America's glorious future. So how can you resist this public forum? Now put on your boxing shorts and step into the ring there with Mr Stein. He just wants to ask you a few simple little question. W'eve been wating for you ... tic tic tic..

Posted by: ace backwords on June 23, 2005 04:32 PM

Geeeeeezzzzzzz! That Dan Stein must be one bad dude. Imagine, McCain was willing to debate and sass the goons who ran the Hanoi Hilton, but he won't even show up to give his rank and serial number to Stein. Who is this man, this man called Stein? Who causes McCain to say nein, nein, nein!

Posted by: Mike McGarry on June 23, 2005 07:51 PM

McCain is a coward! In other words, a typical politician.

Congrats to FAIR!

Posted by: Stuka on June 23, 2005 11:28 PM

He is selling out the american people for a one world government run by the United Nations.

I think you mean WTO (World Trade Organization), not the United Nations.

Posted by: babyblue on June 24, 2005 12:30 AM

People are crazy and we do have problems if they believe Hillary is going to be the next president. Its not going to happen.

Posted by: Shane on June 24, 2005 08:51 AM

Dan, this is outstanding, and the picture of the dis-honorable mcquack is exquisite!

Posted by: Gemma on June 24, 2005 10:26 AM

Senor McCain could debate himself. He has three positions on every issue ! He's a disgrace.

Posted by: pancho villa on June 24, 2005 02:00 PM

This is a hoot.

A lot of the big newspapers were touting McCain Kennedy as some sort of big breakthrough in immigration reform.

And the prime sponsor is nowhere to be found.

Hey, if McCain doesn't want to debate it, how about Kennedy?

Or would that be too cruel?

Posted by: lance_sjogren on June 24, 2005 03:35 PM

McCain has been selling out Americans ever since he joined the U.S. Senate. I respect his service to our nation during the Vietnam war era, however his behavior since joining the U.S. Senate with regard to illegal immigration, H-1B and L-1 Foreign Worker Visas, etc. is horrible. Today, McCain is just another bought-and-paid-for patsy for the Open-Borders / Globalist / Wall Street Journal / Cheap-Labor cabal. This guy wraps himself in the U.S. flag and hides behind his record of military service, but is too much of a spinless coward to have an open, public debate with Mr. Stein. Why would a guy who survived the "Hanoi Hilton" be afraid of a simple debate with Mr. Stein? Because McCain knows 95% of Americans are OPPOSED to Illegal Alien amnesties of any kind, and given the present decaying job market, falling wage levels, loss of health benefits, overcrowding of schools, overcrowding of hospitals, etc. etc. that Working Americans are now faced with , the vast majority of Americans DON'T WANT ANOTHER "GUEST WORKER PROGRAM". McCain and the rest of the ruling elite in the US Senate is dangerously out of touch with what the vast majority of mainstream Americans want, in terms of sensible, reasonable numerical reductions to the currently record-breaking influx of legal and illegal immigrants. Either we all ratchet up the pressure on the Scum and Harlots in the Senate and House or we can kiss this country good-bye. "Lifeboat America" is dangerously overloaded and in danger of capsizing. Yet another massive amnesty or deceptively-named "guestworker program" will finish this country off for good.

Posted by: G Wevers on June 25, 2005 01:08 AM

The senator has lost touch with american values. I am a baby boomer and from my observation and experience we had a far better country 20-25 years ago before this massive illegal and out of control legal immigration system took effect. Now are cities are full of people who refuse to speak english. Crime, drugs and gangs are the main product of mass immigration. But yet our politicians are on a one way course of distruction sell american down the sink. It seems like now we need divine intervention to save our beloved America.

Posted by: VTA on June 26, 2005 02:22 AM

When is Sen. McMain up for reelection? Can you recall a Senator in AZ? Just something for the good people of AZ to think about.

Posted by: Jefff on June 27, 2005 01:18 AM

VTA, I am at the very end of the baby boomer generation and I can without hestitation say you are correct. Our country was 1000 times better 20-25 years ago before this latest wave of immigrants coming from places around the world (places I would not ever visit much less invite into my country and home). I was in a restaurant yesterday and my table was surrounded by hispanic families all speaking spanish. Which is ok if they were mere tourists and not representative of the American public that refuses to speak English. I felt out of place in my own country. I remember as a kid, I felt safe. People were more friendly. There were common values and language. Less crime. Less congestion. Less pollution. Seldom was there ever a need for rationing of natural resources (water is rationed almost every summer now). Gang activity? That was only in NYC. There was plenty of summer jobs for high school and college kids (and no need to speak spanish as a pre-reg to get a job). Welfare and gov't assistance was rare where I grew up and was heavily frowned upon. People were embarassed to take handouts and would only do so for a short period, just until they got another job(and guess what, most of those did these jobs that "no american" will do as GW states because they had pride). Today, so many see welfare as a way of life and that they are entitiled to it even though they immigrated (for immigrants collecting welfare) here of their own accord and never paid one dime into the US system. The landscape in America has changed. For the worse IMHO. Whether or not the changes work out or tear our country apart remains to be seen. For our government has shown over and over again that they will not stop the flood of immigrants or do anything to maintain the values, culture, and language we baby boomers grew up with.

I am a retired member of tue USAF and I think McCain is a disgrace to our country and our political system (whatever that is). I used to think he was a hero but now I know that down deep inside he's a traitor.

A letter written to him should be started "To The Dishonorable Mr. McCain . . . "

Posted by: Sick n' Tired on June 27, 2005 11:37 AM

What bewilders me is how come the people of Arizona re-elected McCain last time. I think his last re-election was in 2004. (possibly 2002)

Plus, national polls show him doing well in the race for the 2008 Republican nomination for President.

Unfortunately, there are people that think he's OK. Those are obviously people that are apathetic about the immigration issue. That's why educating the public is so important.

Since McCain's not up for re-election in 2006 (of that I am certain), here's what I believe we need to focus on:

Defeat:

Chris Cannon
Jeff Flake
Jim Kolbe

Let's get the House filled with people on our side. The House, representing the PEOPLE, will then dictate the agenda. The cowards of the Senate can then choose either to follow or get out of the way.

Posted by: lance sjogren on June 27, 2005 11:38 AM

McCain needs to resign. He is a mess. He is destroying the nation

Posted by: heidi on June 28, 2005 12:50 AM

I agree with your comment "he is a mess".

Only problem is, he isn't aware of that fact.

Posted by: lance sjogren on June 29, 2005 03:02 PM

Tick-tock Senator. Talk a mean game but can't back it up? As usual the open border advocates have no leg to stand on in a real debate based on facts. What a loser. I will certainly campaign AGAINST McCain if he decides to run for the republican candidate in next presidential election. I am disappointed in him and Bush.

Posted by: Weary Citizen on June 30, 2005 02:24 PM

Stop mocking him. Take action. Call his office. Ask him when he'll accept.

McCain's full of you know what!

Posted by: Critter on July 1, 2005 01:29 PM

A lot of U.S. citizens are unemployed. We need to stop immigrating foreigners who learn to fly jets into our world trade center and start taking care of our own people. We are already over-populated. Thank you very much.
